How much do you know Chicago?Except the name of Windy City,do you know Chicago has another name now?Chicago is snatchingsixth place on Ferbes magazine's list of most miserable cities in the U.S.
Doris Dadayan shows her opinion and explain the meaning of miserable.
Even thought the city has the bad weather in summer and winter,massive traffic congestion, potholes, parking tickets, tolls high murder rates, gang crime, political corruption,and ect,but Chicago has the charming side by itself,we don't give it up.
I agree the author's opinion,not everyone,everything and every country is perfect,but we can do more better to close the perfection,less political corruption,less long commutes,less unemployment problems,ect.And the important is we must have confidence while we hear the terrible news.
I agree with the author's and Shunyi Mei's opinion and is not only about trafic, crime or corruption.
ReplyDeleteIf you see the stadistics in any big city always show high percents in all the bad things, but the really is completly different, like in Colombia with a high percents of violence and robberies, I never was robbed...and is the same thing here in Chicago, I never have any of this problems well maybe the delays in EL or Metra but is completly normal in a big city, and all this bad things for me can be compensate with the beatiful people and amazing city we are living now - Only walk in Michigan Avenue between Art Institute and our school is great...
yes~~people usually panic at the rumor,whether it is true or false, as long as our hearts are strong enough, not afraid of anything...
