TITLE--NATIONAL BEEF
Beef Products Inc.(BPI) decided to shutdown of three plants that produce "lean finely textured beef". BPI uses the beef trim what remains after meat have been trimmed to customer specifications. The beef is treated with ammonia for preservation, and the beef is called "Pink Slime". Public outcry from consumers, parents and school district officials, triggered by YouTube videos and online petitions because the beef are used McDonald's, the National lunch program, Supervalu Inc.
For now, this problem still hasn't been determined effects on the human body. But, I'm so anxious to eat meat just like this. Someone said that people overreacted to Pink Slime. I think so, on the other hand I understand feelings that people want to protest about it. I hope that people could eat various foods without being anxious in the future.
